Hi friends! St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner! Even though we don’t really celebrate St. Patty’s day, green is my most favorite color (ever) & I’m always up for something fun! I don’t have much of St. Patty’s day deco, so I decided to create a super cute and easy shamrock garland to share with you guys. Because who doesn’t love garlands?! ;) Here’s what to do:
Materials Needed: Green Pom Poms, Twine/String, Felt square, needle, hot glue or regular glue, scissors.
Step 1: Gather your materials.
Step 2: Pair your poms in groups of three. Once you have them grouped up, use your hot glue gun to glue them together. To make it more kid-friendly, use regular glue if you want to try this with your kiddo. Using your scissors, cut felt strips.
Step 3: Apply the felt strips to the back of the poms. I didn’t cut a specific size of the felt strips, I just eyed it according to the size of my poms. Be sure to measure accordingly.
Step 4: Thread your needle with your string/twine and pierce the needle through the top of the pom pom & hang.
Voila! Quick & easy St. Patty’s day garland fun! ☘ For extra luck, you can wrap the garland around your head just like Rob did in the picture below. LOL! I hope you guys have fun making this cutie & I’d love to see any photos. Tag us @TheTwiddles / #TheTwiddles on Instagram, Twitter, & Facebook.
